JASON WOULD WATCH A BALL GAME THROUGH ITS LAST INNING. AND LIVED LIFE TO ITS LAST MOMENT. When we found out our son probably wouldn't survice his illness, a feeling of helplessness swept over our family. But then we learned about hospice care. In-home hospice care not only provided treatment for Jason's pain and symptoms, but also brought peace, dignity and comfort to him and our whole family. With their help, we even got to take him to one more game. And those momements weren't just the last - they were some of the best.

Volunteer Events

Each Volunteer is a special part of Snowline Hospice and we would not be able to exist without them. We have several events for our volunteers each year to celebrate their service.

Our Volunteer Luncheon is held to celebrate our Thrift Store and Friends of Hospice Volunteers with over 250 people attending. It is a fun event. Last year we celebrated being “On Safari” with our volunteers. Below are some exciting photos from last year’s event.

Patient Care Volunteers are very important to Snowline Hospice and the services that they provide. The volunteers attend a 32-hour training program in order to educate them on the requirements to be an in-home volunteer. Patient Care volunteers are required to attend in-service meetings throughout the year. We have a dedicated group of individuals that truly make a difference for our patients and caregivers.

Patient Care Volunteers

The patient care volunteers are celebrated at a wine tasting and appetizer event held annually in April at a local winery. It is a wonderful chance for our valued volunteers to relax and realize how special they are.
